They say 5 years isn't very long, tell that to a 5 year old. (Like us) Yes, IVFilms is 5 years old today, we can start school now. Anyway, we are beginning work on our next project, currently pre production, and are finishing up post production for Lou's Place. So we have much in store over the next coming time. For those of you that have yet to see the Lou's Place Teaser, here it is.

We are still finalizing Lou's Place in post, but we thought we'd just give you guys a little update. The Teaser Trailer is coming very soon, within the next couple of weeks, and we are beginning to plan and work on other projects. More details on those will come later. Lou's Place is looking rather good so far (and I say that humbly).

Yesterday we finished up filming Lou's Place. That's right, re shoots are done, all we have left is to finish post production! Even more exciting, IVFilms was featured in the Imperial Valley Press (reporter and photographer were on scene during re shoots), and the article can be seen here! We will keep you in the loop when Lou's Place is finished, and will probably release a teaser soon, so check back often!

We filmed our last needed scene for Lou's Place last Sunday, everything went somewhat smoothly (except for one of our cars dying when no one had jumper cables in the middle of the mountains). All that is left to do are some re shoots and then finish up editing and effects. Stay tuned for more!

Well, it's September and we've been slaving on our next film. Things are coming along very well and we are over half way done with filming it! We are also currently working on post work for it, and should have the final version released in the coming months. Look for a teaser for Lou's Place soon. Also there are now production stills on our Picture's Page, so go there now and check them out!

August 11, 2008
We finally began filming our next project, after a very long time we are back on track. We spent the whole weekend filming a good chunk of the film and are hoping to finish up a location shoot next weekend. After that we will move on to finishing up all the other scenes of the film. Don't ask for a release date, because you won't get one! We'd like to thank all our actors for being there and putting up with our madness. More updates as we continue to work on the film..

Tonight's auditions went well, and we'd like to thank everyone that came out! We are hoping to see even more people tomorrow (in the same location). A few things we should probably mention. In order to park at the college, a parking permit is required, you can park in the meters (though you'll have to repeatedly fill them up) or you can buy a day pass at one of the yellow machines. There is one located near the gym (across campus from where the auditions are being held) and one at the very North end of the North parking lot (beyond the construction). Room 2131 is located nearest to the North parking lot, but you have to park behind the construction so you will need to walk a little.

Flyers have been posted around the valley advertising our auditions, we are getting the word out in as many ways as we can, and hopefully we'll have a lot of people there. If you are interested, don't be shy, just show up, we'll be happy to watch you perform. If you think someone may be interested pass the word on to them. Also, the flyer can be seen here. Don't forget, July 14th and 15th 7-10pm!

We are coming ever closer to our next film, and now we need your help. We are calling any aspiring actors to have a part in our film. Auditions will be held July 14, 15th 7 pm to 10 pm at IVC in room 2131. If you don't know where that is, see here. We are looking for specific ages to play certain parts in the film, the details are:
4 males ages 20-40
1 male ages Open
3 male ages 20-30
1 female age 20-30
1 female age Open
There will also be auditions for another project going on at the same time (in the same room) so come on out if you've ever wanted to be a part of a film. The address to IVC is 380 E Aten Rd, Imperial, CA 92251

So it's been another long while since our last update, but there is so much to report! We think we have found a location for our next film, however, it is not going to be free, nor cheap. Also, we have a new video to show off, another short test with our new camera in High Definition, you can see it here! Finally, I will be doing new tutorials soon, since I just finished school for a while and will have some free time. We are going to begin production on our next film soon, so everyone be ready for our most ambitious project yet (maybe).

Do my eyes deceive me? It looks like there is a new Tutorial out! You know what, there is! It has been an extremely long time between tutorials and I am happy to announce there is a new one with more on the way, see it here! Also, pre-production on our next film is going well. We have most things planned out and are going to begin soon. Be sure to check back here for more details!

Don't worry, we're still here! We've all been busy lately but are currently scouting locations to shoot our next film. We are also familiarizing ourself with the camera and settings. HD is a whole new ballgame, but we are adapting quickly. While you wait for our next major release why not check out our most recent camera test? You can see it here. A new year and we're off to a running start (OK, so maybe not). We are still in pre-production on our next film but know exactly what we're going to do next.
